Blueberry muffins for the skeptics. | Personal

So, this is for all of you who read my first entry and now think "food snob".  I mean my very first post included things like bone broth...I get it.  In order to assure you that although I may speak passionately about health and food, I still adore the not-so-healthy, delicious blueberry muffin.  (See recipe below)

Blueberry Muffins

3 cups all purpose, unbleached (preferably organic) flour

1 tsp baking soda

2 tsp baking powder

pinch of salt

pinch of nutmeg

1 cup sugar (the real stuff...pure cane sugar)

1/2 cup vegetable oil (if your kitchen is warm, use butter instead...I love butter.)

1 egg (get them from a local farmer who actually cares about their animals...I promise, they'll be so much better!)

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice

1 cup plain yogurt (I'll explain how to make your own on another's easier than you think)

2 cups blueberries (pick your own in the summer and freeze them for the winter)

Preheat oven to 385.  In one bowl, mix together the dry ingredients.  In a separate bowl mix together the wet ingredients.  Combine and add the blueberries.  Bake 20 minutes.
