It’s maaaybe one of my favorite things to be a part of such special, life-altering occasions. (I mean, this is my JOB! What!?) I was able to photograph Tom & Abby’s wedding and seeing them as new parents to their ADORABLE new little nugget was simply THE BEST (!). The morning we spent together was surreal. Sleeping At Last was playing in the background (one of my all-time favorites, and apparently Deke’s too!), coffee aromas filled the air, fresh snow falling outside, and PERFECT light streaming through their windows. It was a dream. And seriously, Tom and Abby are two of the warmest people you’ll ever meet. The feel of their home reflects this beautifully. Anyhow, YOU’RE WELCOME for all the newborn cuteness you’re about to scroll through. ;) ;) ;)
These two were THE GREATEST. We started off at the Ledges inside Cuyahoga Valley National Park where I mistakenly thought we might be sheltered from the elements. It was COLD and they literally danced in it! The snowflakes were heavy and steady during the entire session... Their hair was frozen and noses cold but they were smokin’! (did you see what I did there…*insert cheesy grin* ha!) I love that they were up for anything and weren’t concerned about ruined hair and potentially frostbitten fingertips: my kinda people. I cannot wait for their wedding!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE watching couples go from just-married to parents! It’s the best! Several years ago, I photographed Mark and Nicole’s wedding (which was a dream!) and now I’m capturing them with their new little guy, Carson. And in all seriousness, these two ADORE their son. It was such a joy to watch them interact. I mean, Carson is laughing or smiling in basically EVERY picture…and he’s 8 months old! So much love…so beautiful.
